What we collect

From our website forms (pilot requests, client intake): your name, business name, Instagram handle, email address, and business details you choose to share (offer, FAQs, booking link, tone preferences).

When operating your setter: the contents of the Instagram/Facebook DMs needed to do the job — incoming messages, our replies, booking outcomes — accessed only through your authorized account connection, only to provide the service.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card details.

Why we collect it

To install and operate your AI setter, communicate with you, send your weekly report, and bill you. Nothing else.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
We do not use your customer conversations to train models for other clients.
We do not message anyone who hasn't messaged you first.

Who touches your data

Netlify (site hosting and forms), Stripe (payments), Meta (the Instagram/Facebook APIs), and our operators — Muse (AI) and Robert (human supervision).

Your rights (California)

Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request to see, correct, or delete your personal information. Email support@usefirstbrief.com — we respond within 45 days.

Retention

Client records are kept for the engagement plus 2 years for tax/accounting, then deleted on request. Backups age out within 90 days.
