Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026
FirstBrief is currently in early access / waitlist stage. This policy covers what we collect through the waitlist and, going forward, the FirstBrief service itself.

1. Who we are

FirstBrief ("we," "us," "our") provides a daily morning briefing for Shopify sellers, covering revenue, inventory, invoices, and customer message backlog. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

2. What we collect

Right now, at the waitlist stage, we collect only what you give us directly:

Once the full product launches, using FirstBrief will require connecting store and payment platforms (such as Shopify and Stripe) and, optionally, a social inbox tool. In that case, we will access only the data needed to generate your daily brief — for example, revenue totals, payment status, stock levels, invoice status, and message backlog counts. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to train models or share it with advertisers.

3. How we use it

We do not use your email for anything beyond FirstBrief communications, and we do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

4. Where it's stored

Waitlist signups are currently processed through Netlify Forms, our hosting provider. Once the product launches, brief data will be processed through the connectors you authorize (e.g. Shopify, Stripe) and stored only as needed to generate and deliver your daily brief.

6. Changes to this policy

As FirstBrief moves from waitlist to a live product, this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what data the service accesses and how it's handled. We'll note the "last updated" date above whenever that happens.
